MATCH NEWS
The St Kitts and Nevis Patriots started off the tournament poorly and won just 1 match out of their first 5. Things have really looked good for them in the second half of the season in which they have registered 4 victories. Their last outing was a close win versus the Barbados Tridents in which they won by 1 run. Patriots put up 149 runs but their opponents could only 148. Shamarh Brooks scored a half century in the match but the real heroes were Sheldon Cottrell and Carlos Brathwaite who picked up 3 wickets each. The team are looking high on confidence!
The Knight Riders have not looked good after their first 4 matches. In-fact their season took a tumble when they lost to the Patriots in the super in an away tie. Things have not looked good for them since then. They have failed to register a single victory in their last four outings and there will be alot of pressure on them as defending champions to go on further in the tournament. They have surprised us before but can they do it this time? Only time will tell!
