Guyana Amazon Warriors have qualified on top and they will have two chances at qualifying for the finals, a lot depends on this match for their opponents Trinbago Knight Riders, they might qualify in second place if they win this match but it is going to be a tough task for them!

Warriors have won 9 out of their 9 matches, they are the only unbeaten team in the league stages of the Caribbean Premiere League and deservedly so! They must feel invincible at this point of time! They registered a mammoth victory in their last league game versus the Jamaica Tallawahs. The team won by a margin of 77 runs. Bowling was impeccable, the Warriors put up 156 runs in the first innings and bowled their opponents out for just 79. Skipper Shoaib Malik scored 73 runs and Sherfane Rutherford scored 45. All the bowlers got wickets, Imran Tahir got 3, the highest. They will surely feel they can go into the playoffs with a unbeaten record but this will be a tough task for them.
Trinbago have not really done anything worthwhile in the second half of the tournament. They have lost five matches in a row the last of which came against the Barbados Tridents. The Knight Riders scored 134 runs which their opponents chased with 7 wickets to spare! They will surely want to qualify second but that is a big ask for them.
